A friendly reminder

Hello everyone,

I warmly invite you all to come along to our annual lunch and presentation of trophies this Saturday.

In particular, I would like to see all our new members who have joined us this season come and get to know the longer-term members.

Please bring a plate to share – anything you enjoy having for lunch – and we will give you a drink to enjoy with your meal.

We will also have a brief meeting after lunch regarding the revised club plan which our Secretary, Jim Brough, has been working on and will present.

Then, we all enjoy the trophy presentation which is a happy recognition to those who have played their way to victory in the name of our croquet club.

I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday. If it’s raining, please still turn up for 12 noon, as we can always eat, drink and enjoy a chat despite the weather.

It is the end of the summer season this weekend. Sunday is the last day of play. We expect the lawns to be closed for about a month. We will advise you all of the opening date for the winter season closer to the time.
