Winter play start date - Tuesday 24 May

Good morning KMCC members,

On a clear morning like this, you must be hoping to start winter croquet.

Wellington City Council has some further work to do at our request, to fix some problem areas, and then the grounds will need to ‘rest' a few days to give the lawn seed a chance. 

While it is disappointing not to be out playing, it is important to have lawns at a good standard. Also, if work is not done now, we may have to close them partway through a season so remedial work can be done, which is not desirable.

Winter play will be open to Kelburn members on the winter timetable from Tuesday 24 May. There is a fee for winter play - more on this in the upcoming monthly newsletter.
