Congratulations to Alison Robinson and Baubre Murray, who won the Rudkin Brooches AC level doubles challenge last Friday, 0+ handicap grade. Marion McInnes was also in the Kelburn team and played one challenge match.

There is a draw done at the beginning of the summer season  for clubs  wishing to enter a challenge. Waimarie HV were the holders of the Brooches at the beginning of the season. We successfully challenged them, and then, in turn were challenged unsuccessfully by Wellington and then Plimmerton so we are now the holders.

Next season we will defend it against challengers. Clubs can only challenge once in a season.

The brooches were donated by Mrs H H Rudkin, a foundation member of Lyall Bay club and President for many years.
